What?
I sometimes hear from friends and family, "Hey Amy did you read what's on x's site?" And honestly....I didn't. The best move I ever made in my life was no longer reading websites of people whose very existance cause me grief or pain. Is it tempting to sometimes log on and read their sites and secretly plot their demise? Of course it is. The problem with that? It isn't very productive or helpful in where my life is going now. Personal websites are like peepholes into others lives...and honestly, I have no interest or need to know what is going on in certain people's lives. The sitemeter never lies.
Thank you to all of you that have honored my request to move on and not dwell on the things in my life I have no need for anymore. And please, don't stay in the woodwork..if you read me, feel free to leave a comment :) Wednesday Wist tomorrow!!!

Personal websites are like peepholes into others lives...
I'd say personal Web sites are mostly self-indulgent bully pulpits for people who equate it to being a writer, social commentator, or some other bullshit like that but are too lazy (or fearful) to pursue writing it as a full-fledged career. The blogosphere is a circle jerk; a cacophony of chirping voices, each trying to out-chirp one another in the name of vanity. It's the latest toy for the passive-aggressive, sarcastic and self-absorbed. It's the flavor of the week on the Inernet.
It’s an empowerment zone for slack-jawed dullards and narrow minded boneheads who believe in the fallacy of “I Blog, therefore I Smart.” Wrong.
I happily and willingly take part in it and fully recognize that it's here to stay (in some capacity), but I know I'm just one more shovel of bullshit in an infinite field of bullshitters with varying levels of intellect, grammar and wits.
It's neither very important nor a very crucial thread in the social fabric. Just as is the case of e-mail blogging is more a wedge than a conduit to real, social interaction and communication. It's just a place for stuff.
*shrug*
good 'tude. You're not missing much anyway ;)
I've fallen into that trap of reading the site I really should just pass by. Sometimes it's hard to pass, eventually its not. Just humna nature I guess. Definitely a good thing to move on though. good job!
I'm still in first place. Not gunna post a screenshot of that on the web?
You are never living this down.
You must be fuming right about now, haha
you delete, and Im still posting
You like to criticize everyone else, but you don't like being criticized, sounds like a hypocrite to me
I am only posting what everyone else knows, you just have to accept the truth
I am only posting what everyone else knows, you just have to accept the truth
Aren't you happy, I'm paying attention to Amy, I thought you loved being the center of everyones attention? I guess, I win!
Hey why aren't you deleting the posts, hello, pay attention!!!
Amy, you have some very mature commenters. You must be very important to these people if they are spending so much time and effort on you. Too bad they're anonymous though, you could see who your fans are.
Gee, I hope you're not mad at me, I'm sorry, it was just a joke, hehe
KMR, I read the "I am always right", you must be Amy's mother or sister I would say.
anonymous, you must be a freakin' genius as well as mature!
Yep, Ima genius and mature, unlike your sister, but I am wrong sometimes, I can admit that, and the world does not revolve areound me, unlike your sister
How do YOU know she hasn't admitted that she's been wrong and also made mistakes?
Sometimes in life, you just have to mind your own business and let people take care of theirs.
I guess so, you're always right, and I am sometimes wrong.....
Isn't this great Amy, you love all the attention!!!
I have no interest or need to know what is going on in certain people's lives.
I'm reasonably certain I fall into that category.
